Started blogging – just my nature of being a herd member!

Happy New Year 2009! Wish you and your family a healthy, happy and a peaceful New Year!

For a long, long time, I stumbled upon many interesting writings online by many of my friends. My friend Niru’s food blogs and the photos of drool worthy dishes in her blogs were my real inspiration for blogging!  I always wanted to create one such shareable writing space.

In the early days of my exposure to blogging, I wanted to write and publish stuff about – friendship; my road trips; adventure of my drowning in high floods and being rescued during white water rafting in Leavenworth, WA; funny experience of calling 911 – emergency to find my missing car in travel plaza with identical front and rear entrances parking lots in Delaware.

Though these ideas of publishing sounded exciting to me, I realized it involves lot of work to get my thoughts typed!

During New Year’s Day, I happened to see – people having resolutions; of course celebrating; doing things different and unusual, with hopes that any activity of self improvement started on the auspicious day of New Year, will continue atleast until the year end, if not for ever.

So I have decided to start creating blogs, copy pasting the text of some emails I wrote my friends on various occasions of my excited, influenced brain state.

Wow! Look at this! I have a lot of text for one blog! Yep, New Year’s Day is indeed auspicious!

My next blog, which I was thinking to be my first blog until now, will be a copy paste of my email which bragged about my nit picking abilities!
